Our Mission
The Urban Design and Architecture Society aims to foster a deeper understanding of the built environment through academic enrichment, creative exploration, mentorship opportunities, and the publication of our student-led zine.
UDAS Events
Weekly Meetings
UDAS hosts weekly general meetings featuring guest speakers who offer guidance on navigating NYU, applying to architecture graduate programs, and gaining fieldwork experience.
Mentorship
UDAS’s mentorship program connects students with experienced peers and industry professionals to provide personalized guidance, support, and insight throughout their academic and career journeys, including training in AutoCAD, Rhino, and other architectural software to help advance their careers.
Tours
UDAS organizes site tours throughout New York City to give students firsthand exposure to architectural landmarks, urban design projects, and the built environment in context.
Networking
UDAS offers a strong network of students, alumni, and professionals, creating opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and career connections within the fields of architecture and urban design. Network meetings are held frequently.
